The MÜHLEN TCM 97, capable of hotmelt binding between 10 and 400 sheets, uses a fully automatic system to produce book-quality bindings. Once pressure, heat and time are set (these are given in table form in the user manual according to page count), the binding process is completed fully automatically within seconds.
Binding up to 400 Sheets
Using an extremely economical heat-sensitive adhesive (HOTMELT), the MÜHLEN TCM 97 easily binds A4-size and smaller documents with 10~400 sheets (up to 40mm, 80gsm). Thanks to adjustable glue pressure and spreading settings that let the user set the desired glue density, the machine is built entirely from a steel body and steel components.
320mm Binding Chamber
The model, which can hotmelt-bind A4 and smaller documents, has a binding chamber length of 320mm. Heat setting between 100~180°C, pressure value and pressing time are specified according to page count in the table shown in the user manual. The model, which shows the current and target heat on its digital display, also alerts the user with a long "BEEP" sound and a green icon on the screen once the target temperature is reached.

Suitable settings are specified in the user manual according to the number of pages the user will bind. These settings are the heat degree, glue pressure and pressing time.
